Do I need kerosene or gas oil?

Most oil powered boilers run on kerosene. Most tanks have a sticker with the product they use on it. If not, call your local depot, who can advise you further.

What is the minimum order?

500 litres is the least we can sell by law.

How can I order online?

Once you have registered, login to the site to see your dashboard. Click on place an order and follow the on screen instructions.

Once your order has been placed, we will call you to confirm that day’s price and ensure you are happy to go ahead. When you have confirmed you can track your order online.

What can I do to avoid running out of oil?

The first thing to do is to check your tank about once a week, especially in winter.

During colder weather, you should think about ordering when you have 40% left in the tank. At any other time of the year 20% should give you ample time for a delivery to arrive.

Do I need to be at home for a delivery?

No you don't need to be at home, as long as we can safely access your tank.

What should I do if there is a leak in my tank?

Your first call should be to your tank manufacturer.

In the meantime, there are some simple steps you can take to try and prevent any substantial damage.

  • Rub the crack with soap which can act as a temporary fix for smaller cracks.
  • Products such as a clay based leak sealing putty can also temporarily seal the crack/leak. You should then look to organise a tank replacement.
  • Finally, you should contact the 24-hour Environment Agency's UK Pollution Incident hotline on 0800 80 70 60.
